UGANDA WILDLIFE SAFARIS

VIEWING BIG GAME, CHIMPANZEE TRACKING BIRD WATCHING, BUTTERFLY HUNTING, NATURE WALK & CANOEING ON THE CRATER LAKE. (12 DAYS)

Day 1:
Arrive at the Airport, to be met by Atlas Safaris Staff, then you are transferred to Kampala and check in at Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

Day 2:
Leave Kampala after breakfast and proceed west to west to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Masaka. Stop at the Equator for photographs and you will have lunch at Agip Motel. Arrival at Mweya Safari Lodge will be in the afternoon, the evening at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (B, L, D).

Day 3:
After breakfast, you go for a morning game drive, lunch at Mweya Lodge. In the afternoon, you go for a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel to see a variety of Wildlife and Birds. You then have an evening game drive. Dinner and Overnight at the Mweya Safari Lodge.(B, L, D).

Day 4:
After breakfast at 7:00 am, you go to the Kyambura Gorge for a Nature walk in the forest, move with packed lunch and there after visit the Bat Cave and Snake Pit. Dinner adn Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge. (B, L, D).

Day 5:
Early wake up call at 6:00 hrs, then go for a morning game drive and then breakfast. Morning at leisure and lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge, at 14:00 hrs, depart Queen Elizabeth for Fort Portal (4 hrs drive) check in at Ndali Lodge in the late afternoon. The evening leisure or visiting one of the nearby villages. Dinner and Overnight at Ndali Lodge (B, L, D).

Day 6:
Early breakfast then proceed to the Kibale Forest National Park (approx 1 hr drive). Take a Nature walk in the forest for about 3 hours, with a possibility of spotting a variety of Monkeys, Chimpanzees, Birds and Flora. Picnic lunch to be enjoyed somewhere in the forest. In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi Swamp where one also has an opportunity to view more Birds. Return to Ndali Lodge fro Dinner adn Overnight (B, L, D).

Day 7:
Wake up early, have breakfast and then proceed to Semuliki National Park. You visit the Hot Springs at Sempaya. You may have a chance to see the pygmies at Sempaya. Move with packed lunch. On you way back in Fort Portal, you will visit the King's Palance and the Toro Royal Tombs at Karambi and also visit the famous stalagmites adn stalactites deposits at Nyakasura. Return to Ndali Lodge will be in the evening. Dinner to Ndali Lodge for Dinner and Overnight. (B, L, D).

Day 8:
After an early breakfast begin the journey to Murchison Falls National Park at 8:00 hrs. The drive takes 8-10hrs. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed en route before Masindi. The drive will be through Budongo forest along Lake Albert and arrival at the lodge will be in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge (B, L, D).

Day 9:
Breakfast at leisure enjoying the spectacular views on the River Nile, Spotting many Hippos and other Animals. After lunch, a Bird walk around the vicinity of the lodge and perhaps a dip in the pool. Dinner and Overnight at the Paraa Safari Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 10:
After breakfast take the launch trip on the Victoria Nile to see bottom of the Falls, and then views a variety of Wildlife and Birds. Lunch at the Lodge. The afternoon is at leisure near the swimming pool. At 17.00hrs, an evening game drive, Dinner and Overnight at the Paraa Safari Lodge. (B, L, D).

Day 11:
After breakfast drive to the top of the Falls. Take a short walk around the top of the Falls from where you can walk down to the river's edge and see the waters narrow as they are forced through the rocky cleft and plunge down 35 meters in a majestic cascade. A picnic lunch to be enjoyed near the Falls. Proceed for the return journey to Kampala. Approx. 6-7hrs). Continue for 45Kms to Entebbe. Overnight at the Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel, Entebbe. (B, L)

Day 12:
Day of departure, the Windsor Lake Victoria offers free airport transfers for all hotel guests (B).
