The 36 km Kazinga channel is within the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Channel connects Lakes Edward and George at the foot of 5100 Metre Rwenzori Mountains.
The Launch trip is an excellent opportunity for tourists to view the channel’s varied and abundant wildlife population including elephants, hippos, buffalos, and crocodiles not to mention large numbers of resident and migratory water birds.
Queen Elizabeth National Park of which Kazinga Channel belongs enjoys a fabulous location on the floor of the Albertine Riftvalley savanna.Acaccia woodland, Forest wetland and open water support a wide range of animals and remarkable 604 bird species.
A tourist dream is not fulfilled while in Queen Elizabeth National Park unless the Kazinga Channel cruise is made to view lots of animals and birdlife on the two Lakes.
